In a large pot, bring water (or broth) and butter to a simmer, until butter has melted.
2 cups water or broth, 4 tablespoons salted butter
Remove from heat, add stuffing mix, and toss with a fork until all the breadcrumbs are moist.
12 ounce bag of Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing
Let the breading cool for a few minutes. In the meantime, chop all your fruits and veggies.
4 stalks celery, chopped, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 ½ cups raisins, 2 apples, cored and chopped, 1 ½ cups whole cranberries, 2 tablespoons orange zest (optional)
Toss fruits and vegetables with the breading mix.
Stuff turkey and cook as usual. Alternatively, place in a casserole dish and bake at 375℉ for about 40 minutes.
