Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3 cups pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the pineapple, ice cubes, and sugar (if using) to a blender.
1 cup ice cubes, 3 cups pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen, or canned), 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
  • Blend until smooth, or pulse a few times if you want more of a slushy, icy texture. Both are good, it just depends on what you're going for.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately. This one won't wait - it starts melting fast, so drink it right away. Enjoy!

Notes

🍍 Fresh vs. frozen vs. canned - All three work great. Frozen gives the thickest, iciest texture. Canned is convenient and delicious. Fresh works too, just make sure it's ripe and sweet.
🧊 Texture tips - More ice gives you a slushier texture, less ice gives you something closer to a smoothie.
🥤 Serve immediately - This one melts fast. Don't wait.
💫 Variations - Add coconut milk for a creamy version. Add a shot of rum or vodka for a frozen cocktail. Add a squeeze of lime for a citrusy kick.
