We’ve all heard that we’re supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day (approx 2 liters), but that’s not always easy to do. Especially for those of us, like me, who don’t really care for the lack of taste in plain water. But there’s a simple solution: Easy Fruit & Herb Infused Water recipes!

Adding fruits & herbs to your water not only makes it taste amazing, but there are health benefits too!

  • Some nutrients from the fruits soak into the water
  • There are very few calories in infused waters and drinking more water can also decrease your appetite, both of which are great for weight loss
  • Improved digestion and increased energy due to increased hydration
  • There’s no need to add sugar, so it’s much healthier than soft drinks or juices
  • If adding fruits & herbs helps you drink more water and stay hydrated, that’s great!
  • When you’re finished with the fruit, throw it in the blender to make a smoothie!

Here are a few simple infused water recipes we’ve come up with, which we know you’ll love!

Try these out & then experiment on your own! Use ingredients that are local and in season, to keep it budget friendly.

To make each infusion, simply add the ingredients to a glass of water or use a Savvy Infusion Water Bottle. I use my Savvy Infusion Water Bottle all the time and it’s a dream! Let ingredients soak at least a few hours in the fridge, or optimally, overnight.

Tip:  Add these ingredients to sparkling water too…delicious with a hint of bubbles!
